She spent time traveling throughout South Korea, to hospitals and research facilities, to further her knowledge of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, physical examination, and treatment protocols.

Before focusing on Acupuncture, Laura worked as a Registered Nurse to one of New York City’s most reputable cosmetic surgeons. These years of experience have allowed her to understand and address patients cosmetic needs. Laura also spent time working in the Women’s Health unit at the Virtua Hospital system, and as an allergy nurse, testing and treating environmental and food allergens. The work she’s done over the years has given her the knowledge and ability to integrate Western techniques into her practice, to provide the best care and treatment for her patients.

Laura’s treatment style combines Eastern and Western medicine with an emphasis on American Physical Medicine and Dry Needling Acupuncture. This approach focuses on the musculoskeletal system with the use of palpation techniques in order to determine areas of tightness and constriction. These tight areas are then released which enables the body to relax and move towards balance.
